Formed in 2002 the Tombs and Allen partnership combines two eye-care professionals with many years of experience and a passionate aim to provide the best for their patients.

J M Tombs Opticians had been established in Stoke Road Gosport since 1983 an Optical Practice has been on the original site since the 1930's when Mr Mason was then the residing oculist! He took on a trainee, John Ogg who faithfully served the community with his care and wonderful sense of humour until he retired and Jackie Tombs took over.
Jackie, along with her business partner, Patrick Allen, have expanded the business into a thriving, modern practice where technological advances blend hand in hand with providing a welcoming environment for the whole community. During our redesign and reburbishment we opened up the dispensing area, with contemporary frame displays and new flooring.
The air conditioned premises allow you to browse in comfort while you make your selections from 2000 frames available at any one time.
The practice was redesigned and refurbished for the comfort and convenience of our patients. At the same time we incorporated the names of both partners in our trading name.
Tombs and Allen Opticians are pleased to say we are now able to offer Retinal Photography to our patients.
A video camera gives you a close up of yourself in your new frames and lens demonstrators help you decide on the optimum thinness and design of your next high tech spectacle lenses.
